New summer attraction opening postponed one more year because of tornadoes

Early in the start of the year, the new water park opening up in the heart of Soda Springs was scheduled to be open for patrons as early as June, but recent severe weather threats have caused a delay in construction. "We had to play it safe, despite high expectations, and have decided to postpone until next summer." Said the CEO of Super Waterland, Mark Splasher in an interview with Meteorology Station. "The tornadoes didn't end up reaching the park, so everything worked out in the end. We won't have to worry about any damage, and everyone is safe." He concluded that people would be understanding of the delay, and even promoted a special gift for early season-pass and ticket buyers who had already purchased tickets for the park.
Despite the let down of not being able to visit the attraction, locals are reacting exactly as Mr. Splasher predicted, and are even posting on social media about their anticipation for the grand opening.
